Arrival & First Impressions
Arrival at Jammu Airport/Railway Station. Drive to Katra (50 km | 1.5 hrs), the base town for the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi Temple. Evening: Yatra registration, visit Banganga Temple, and explore Katra local market. Sacred sites anchor the experience, offering an immersive look at the living religious heritage and cultural practices of the destination.
Temples & Sacred Heritage
Early morning begins the trek (approximate 13 km each way) to visit the Ardhkuwari Cave Temple, Vaishno Devi Temple, Bhairavnath Temple and Return to Katra. Active experiences and striking surroundings come together to create a memorable change of pace within the wider journey.
Katra → Pahalgam
Travel from Katra to Pahalgam (240 km / 7 – 8 hours), with an en-route visit Anantnag town, and Saffron Fields Pampore. Evening free to explore the beautiful Lidder River valley. The route allows the landscape to take centre stage, balancing scenic viewpoints and outdoor experiences with time to appreciate the surroundings.
After lunch drive → Srinagar
Morning you can visit Chandanwari, Betaab and Aru Valley by taxi union vehicle (outside vehicles are not allowed). After lunch drive to Srinagar (95 km / 3 hrs). Changing landscapes, open views and time in nature give the day a refreshing rhythm and a strong connection to the destination’s natural character.
Temples & Sacred Heritage
Visit the famous Mughal gardens (Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Chashme Shahi), Shankaracharya Temple, and explore Lal Chowk market. In the evening enjoys Shikara Ride on Dal Lake. The journey moves through places of faith and reflection, adding a distinctive cultural depth to the wider travel experience.
Day Excursion → Gulmarg
Day Excursion to Gulmarg (50 km/ 2 hours each way) to see Gulmarg Gondola (one of the highest cable cars), Maharani Temple Gulmarg, Snow and mountain views. The day follows a meaningful spiritual and cultural thread, connecting revered places with the traditions that continue to define the region.
Departure & Onward Journey
After breakfast, transfer to Airport for the onward destination. With the final transfer arranged, the journey comes to a seamless close as you continue to your next destination.
