1. Website Use
This website is operated by Golden Travel Routes Private Limited (“GTR”, “we”, “us” or “our”). The website is intended to provide information about our travel packages, destination experiences and related services. By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and only for genuine travel-related purposes.
2. Hotel Check-in, Check-out & Accommodation
Standard hotel check-in and check-out times are determined by the concerned hotel, resort, camp or other accommodation provider. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
All accommodation is subject to availability at the time of confirmation. If a selected property becomes unavailable, GTR may arrange an alternative property of a similar or comparable standard, subject to availability and the applicable supplier terms.
3. Transportation
Vehicles included in a confirmed itinerary are provided for the transportation services specified in that itinerary. A vehicle will not remain at the guest’s unrestricted disposal throughout the tour unless this has been specifically agreed and confirmed in writing.
Additional transportation requirements, route changes, waiting time or vehicle upgrades may result in additional charges.
4. Enquiries, Booking & Payment
An enquiry or quotation request does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking becomes confirmed only after the required services, availability, inclusions, applicable terms and payment requirements have been confirmed by GTR or the relevant service provider.
Bookings may be confirmed against the advance payment specified in the quotation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the balance payment must be received by the due date stated in the booking confirmation or invoice.
If the required payment is not received by the specified due date, GTR may release or cancel the booking without further notice. Supplier-imposed cancellation or release charges may apply.
5. Pricing & Availability
Package prices and availability may vary according to travel dates, seasonality, hotel availability, transportation, activities, taxes, government requirements and supplier rates. The price and inclusions applicable to a confirmed booking are those stated in the written confirmation or invoice issued for that booking.
6. Travel & Identification Documents
Guests are responsible for carrying valid government-issued photo identification throughout the journey. Foreign nationals are responsible for carrying valid passports, visas and any other documents required under applicable Indian laws and regulations.
GTR is not responsible for consequences arising from incomplete, expired or invalid travel documentation.
7. Safety, Guides & Activities
Guests must follow reasonable instructions and safety requirements provided by GTR representatives, guides, drivers, hotels, camps, safari operators and activity providers.
Adventure and outdoor experiences may involve inherent risks. Certain activities may be subject to age, health, weather, weight, safety or other operational restrictions. GTR or the relevant activity provider may modify or discontinue an activity where safety or operational conditions require it.
8. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their luggage, valuables, cash, documents, electronic devices and other personal belongings during the journey. GTR shall not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards local communities, staff, guides, drivers, service providers, other guests and the environment. Any additional cost or damage caused by a guest through misconduct, negligence, intentional damage or violation of a supplier’s rules shall be payable by that guest.
10. Itinerary Changes & Unforeseen Circumstances
The itinerary provided at the time of booking is subject to operational feasibility. GTR may alter the sequence, timing or routing of services where reasonably necessary because of weather, safety considerations, local conditions, road closures, government restrictions, supplier requirements or other operational circumstances.
Additional costs arising from changes in itinerary, route, travel dates, transportation, vehicle requirements, roadblocks, adverse weather, strikes, political or civil disturbances, vehicle breakdowns, flight/train/bus cancellations, illness or other circumstances beyond GTR’s reasonable control may be payable by the guest/client based on actual expenses incurred.
11. Special Requests
Requests for room preferences, dietary requirements, celebrations, specific vehicles, activities, early check-in, late check-out or other special arrangements are subject to availability and confirmation by the relevant service provider. Such requests are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
12. Cancellation Policy
Unless a different cancellation policy is expressly stated in the quotation, booking confirmation or invoice, the following cancellation charges apply:
| Cancellation Period | Cancellation Charge |
|---|---|
| More than 60 days before the tour start date | 5% of total package cost |
| 45–60 days before the tour start date | 25% of total package cost |
| 31–44 days before the tour start date | 50% of total package cost |
| 16–30 days before the tour start date | 75% of total package cost |
| 15 days or less before the tour start date | 100% of total package cost |
13. Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances
No refund shall ordinarily be payable for cancellation or interruption caused by circumstances beyond GTR’s reasonable control, including adverse weather, natural calamities, road closures, civil or political disturbances, government restrictions, strikes, vehicle breakdowns, illness, flight/train/ferry cancellation or other force majeure circumstances.
GTR will make reasonable efforts to assist with alternative arrangements where practicable, subject to availability and any additional costs.
14. Refund Policy
Where a refund is applicable, it will be processed within 30 working days from the date on which the cancellation and applicable refund amount have been finalized.
Refunds are subject to deductions for applicable cancellation charges, supplier charges, transaction or payment-gateway charges and other non-refundable amounts, wherever applicable.
No refund shall ordinarily be provided for unused hotel nights, meals, transfers, sightseeing, activities, excursions or other services once the tour has commenced, including services voluntarily not used by the guest or resulting from early departure.
15. Third-Party Service Providers
GTR arranges and coordinates services that may be provided by independent hotels, resorts, camps, airlines, transport operators, guides, activity providers, restaurants and other suppliers. Their individual terms, operating conditions, safety requirements and cancellation policies may apply.
GTR will make reasonable efforts to coordinate the services confirmed for the guest but cannot control the acts, omissions, availability or operational decisions of independent suppliers, subject to applicable law.
16. Liability
GTR shall not be responsible for loss, delay, cancellation, injury, damage or inconvenience arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control or from the acts or omissions of independent third-party service providers, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17. Website Content
Website text, photographs, graphics, itineraries, branding and other materials are provided for informational and promotional purposes. While GTR seeks to keep information accurate, photographs and descriptions may represent destinations, hotels or experiences generally and may not depict the exact room, vehicle, activity or service provided on every booking.
18. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the website or during a booking is handled in accordance with the GTR Privacy Policy. Information may be shared with relevant suppliers where necessary to arrange the services requested by the guest.
19. Amendment of Terms
