Discover Kerala Bliss Trail through a carefully paced journey shaped around heritage, landscapes, coastal character and local culture. The itinerary brings together heritage & historic sights, munnar → thekkady, thekkady → alleppey.
Arrival & First Impressions
Arrive at Kochi Airport and transfer to Munnar (130 km / 4-5 hours) en route, visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. Today’s transfer introduces a new landscape and atmosphere, with the road journey complemented by meaningful stops along the way.
Heritage & Historic Sights
Visit Rajamalai Eravikulam National Park, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Mattupetty Dam, Tea Gardens, Tea Museum and Tea Factory. From grand monuments to intimate heritage spaces, the day offers a deeper understanding of the stories and traditions that shaped the destination.
Munnar → Thekkady
Munnar to Thekkady (100 km / 3 hours) to visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Spice Plantation. In the evening optional visit Kathakali Show / Kalarippayattu Show. The route allows the landscape to take centre stage, balancing scenic viewpoints and outdoor experiences with time to appreciate the surroundings.
Thekkady → Alleppey
Thekkady to Alleppey (140 km / 4 hours) to board the Houseboat to cruise through Vembanad lake, narrow village canals, paddy fields, Sunset over backwaters. Adventure takes centre stage today, balanced by time to enjoy the natural setting and the distinctive atmosphere of the region.
Alleppey → Kovalam
Travel from Alleppey to Kovalam (160 km / 4 – 5 hours), with an en-route visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Napier Museum. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at the beach. Sea, shoreline and local heritage come together naturally, creating a day that feels relaxed while still offering plenty to discover.
