On arrival in Shillong, explore Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park and Police Bazaar. Overnight: Shillong. The day is shaped by the scenery itself, with forests, hills, waterways or wildlife creating a memorable sense of place along the route.
Local Culture & Experiences
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunji. Visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls, followed by Arwah Cave. Continue to the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls. Explore Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park, enjoying the dramatic landscapes and lush green valleys of Meghalaya. Return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight: Shillong. A varied sequence of experiences gives the day its character, moving naturally between sightseeing, local culture and the surrounding landscape.
Scenic Landscapes & Nature
After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Mawlynnong and Dawki, approximately 180 km / 10 – 12 hours round trip. Visit Mawlynnong, renowned for its cleanliness and picturesque village setting. Explore the remarkable Single-Decker Living Root Bridge and visit the Sky View / Bamboo Watch Tower. Continue to Dawki and enjoy a memorable boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River, close to the India – Bangladesh border. Enjoy the surrounding valley landscapes and beautiful sunset views, subject to weather and timing. Return to Shillong. Overnight: Shillong. Adventure takes centre stage today, balanced by time to enjoy the natural setting and the distinctive atmosphere of the region.
Wildlife & Nature Experience
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Kaziranga National Park, approximately 320 km / 7 – 8 hours, subject to road conditions. Arrive at Kaziranga and check in at your wildlife resort. Spend the evening at leisure, relaxing amidst the natural surroundings. Overnight: Kaziranga. Ease into the experience with a comfortable arrival and transfer, setting the tone for the days of exploration ahead.
Wildlife & Nature Experience
Rise early for an exhilarating Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National Park, exploring the park’s grasslands, wetlands and forested landscapes in search of the magnificent one-horned rhinoceros, wild elephants, swamp deer, wild buffalo and a variety of birdlife. Return to the resort for breakfast and leisure. Later, enjoy a second Jeep Safari in another zone of Kaziranga, offering a different perspective of the park and its diverse wildlife. Evening at leisure at the resort. Overnight: Kaziranga. The pace becomes more experiential, combining outdoor activity with dramatic scenery and a closer connection to the destination’s landscape.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Guwahati, approximately 220 km / 5 – 6 hours. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a spectacular Brahmaputra River Sunset Cruise, sailing along the mighty river as the sun sets over Assam. Later, explore Fancy Bazaar, one of Guwahati’s popular shopping and local-market areas. Overnight: Guwahati. Temples & Sacred Heritage
After breakfast, begin your Guwahati sightseeing. Visit the revered Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s most important Shakti Peethas, followed by Umananda Temple, located on an island in the Brahmaputra River. Continue to the Brahmaputra Heritage Centre and Assam State Museum, showcasing Assam’s rich history, culture, art and traditions. Later, visit Bhimashankar Temple / Balaji Temple, subject to temple timings and the selected itinerary. Overnight: Guwahati. Sea, shoreline and local heritage come together naturally, creating a day that feels relaxed while still offering plenty to discover.
