Arrival & First Impressions

Leh → Nubra Valley
Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (130 km / 5 - 6 hours) en route, visit Khardung La Top, Scenic views of Shyok and Nubra rivers. After lunch visit Diskit Monastery and Maitreya Buddha, and Hunder Sand Dunes for double-humped Bactrian camel ride. Adventure takes centre stage today, balanced by time to enjoy the natural setting and the distinctive atmosphere of the region.
Excursion → Turtuk Village
Excursion to Turtuk Village (170 km round trip) to visit last Indian village, Balti culture and views towards Pakistan border. Local culture adds depth to the day, turning individual visits into a broader understanding of the destination and its way of life.
Nubra Valley → Leh
Nubra Valley to Leh via Khardung La (130 km / 5 - 6 hours) en route, visit Hemis Monastery across Indus River near Kharu, and Hemis Monastery is the richest and the biggest monastery complex in Ladakh. The day follows a meaningful spiritual and cultural thread, connecting revered places with the traditions that continue to define the region.
Departure & Onward Journey
